​MC Squared is a beatboxer.  He is a five-time winner and 2002 annual champion of Showtime at the Apollo.  He has performed with legendary beatboxers including Doug E. Fresh, Rahzel, Kenny Muhammad, Shodekeh, Matisyahu, Afra, Adam Matta, Taylor McFerrin, Kid Lucky, Baba, Masai Electro, Chesney Snow, D. Cross, and many others.  He has shared the stage with artists including Wu Tang Clan, MIA, Diplo, Outkast, Talib Kweli, Mix Master Mike, Blackalicious & Lateef, Rob Base & Slick Rick, Jeru the Damaja, Aesop Rock, Atmosphere, J-Live, Sage Francis, Xzibit, Mr. Complex, Cannibal Ox, Living Legends, Anticon, Zion I, Murs, Jin tha MC, P.E.A.C.E., Mikah 9, Self Jupiter, Brother Ali, The Oddjobs, Clarity & Eternal, DJ Kentaro, DJ Mitsu the Beats, Ulfuls, Gagle, Hifana, GoCoo, and many more.

 

Squared released the first solo beatbox DVD to critical acclaim.  It was distributed and sold internationally, with proceeds donated to Keep A Child Alive.  He has played across the US and up and down the east and west coasts, at large festival events like the 2004 Fuji Rock Festival, and small events like art gallery openings in New York and Tokyo.  He has performed and collaborated with musicians around the world, including shows in Argentina, Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, France, Cambodia, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Ghana, Germany, and Japan.
